KMail is the email component of Kontact, the integrated personal information manager from KDE. Default settings rather compromise on features than security or privacy. End-to-end Encryption. Support for OpenPGP and S/MIME is built-in, and a setup and key generation wizard aids users in getting started with this. Transport encryption, SSL/TLS encrypted communication is of course supported, as are a number of authentication methods such as GSSAPI (Kerberos) or OAuth2. Strong isolation of HTML content. If HTML emails can’t be avoided, KMail ensures no external references can be hidden in there to leak information or compromise your privacy. Additionally KMail’s phising protections warns about suspicious links in such emails. Lokalize is the localization tool for KDE software and other free and open source software. It is also a general computer-aided translation system (CAT) with which you can translate OpenDocument files (*.odt). Translate-Toolkit is used internally to extract text for translation from .odt to .xliff files and to merge translation back into .odt file. Lokalize Windows installers are also available to download from the binary-factory. These versions don’t contains the translations and are intended for testing purpose. Get involved and help us making them better! Translation Memory (TM) now keeps track of where each translation pair came from. So when you want to search for string in the files on disk, you just drag the directory with those files onto translation memory tab (F7) to update TM, wait a minute or two, then type your string into right field of Translation Memory tab, then press Enter.

GCompris is a high quality educational software suite, including a large number of activities for children aged 2 to 10. Some of the activities are game orientated, but nonetheless still educational. Currently GCompris offers more than 100 activities, and more are being developed. GCompris is free software, it means that you can adapt it to your own needs, improve it, and most importantly share it with children everywhere. This is a web browser designed to be used on small mobile devices, integrate well in Plasma workspaces. This button only works with Discover and other AppStream application stores. You can also use your distribution’s package manager.

Krusader is an advanced twin panel (commander style) file manager for KDE Plasma and other desktops in the *nix world, similar to Midnight or Total Commander. It provides all the file management features you could possibly want. It supports a wide variety of archive formats and can handle other KIO slaves such as SMB or fish. It is (almost) completely customizable, very user-friendly, fast and looks great on your desktop! It will look good on your résumé, you'll be able to give web addresses so that your employers will see with their own eyes how industrious you are, and the way you work. Krusader needs your help!

KDevelop is a Free and Open Source integrated development environment (IDE). It provides editing, navigation and debugging features for several programming languages, as well as integration with multiple build systems and version-control systems, using a plugin-based architecture. KDevelop has parser backends for C, C++ and Javascript/QML, with further external plugins supporting e.g. PHP or Python. KDevelop Windows installers are also available to download from the binary-factory. These versions don’t contains the translations and are intended for testing purpose. Get involved and help us making them better! This release brings half a year of work, focused mainly on stability, performance, and future maintainability. Many existing features have received small improvements again, and there is one highly-visible addition, optional display of inline notes for problems at the end of the line.

Krfb Desktop Sharing is a server application that allows you to share your current session with a user on another machine, who can use a VNC client to view or even control the desktop.

With Kwave you can record, play back, import and edit many sorts of audio files including multi channel files. Kwave includes some plugins to transform audio files in several ways and presents a graphical view with a complete zoom- and scroll capability.

Calindori is a touch friendly calendar application. It has been designed for mobile devices but it can also run on desktop environments. Users of Calindori are able to check previous and future dates and manage tasks and events. When executing the application for the first time, a new calendar file is created that follows the ical standard. Alternatively, users may create additional calendars or import existing ones.

Trojitá is an email program ("client") specialized in giving fast and efficient access to mailboxes over the IMAP protocol. An IMAP mail server stores messages and allows clients to fetch messages to the local computer when asked for. It prioritizes efficiency, speed and open standards above other goals. Trojitá also aims to be multi-platform, and functions well on everything from big desktop computers to small cellphones. Trojitá is a stand-alone program, not part of a "personal information manager" suite.

KBackup is an application which lets you back up your data in a simple, user friendly way. Using profile files with definitions for Folders and files to be included or excluded from the backup. The backup target can be either a locally mounted device like a ZIP drive, USB stick, etc. or any remote URL. Running automated backups without using a graphical user interface.
