Besides the online guide, there are also explanations for various methods/functionalities used, inside Intrexx.

It provides snippets of code, based on what you're searching for, so it saves some time.

It removes a lot of preparation work to get a project standing on its feet, especially with a low-coding approach.

It incorporates everything you need to have a project going on. From various external connectors, to easy mail services configuration, to various modules that increase the quality of life.

Cons: The English translation, especially for articles regarding information about some functionality, is rather lacking.

Some settings can be reached pretty unintuitive.

It can be quite limited when it comes to more advanced functionalities, and may require workarounds.

Overall: Overall I'm giving Intrexx a 4.9/5 rating.

All the pros that Intrexx present, just simply cannot be overlooked, and once you will try Intrexx and use it, you will see just how easy it actually is to use the platform and how quick it will be to get going on with developing.

Pretty good interface, with nice windows that separate modules between each other such as the Application module, Process module, Design module, etc.

I cannot emphasize how easy it is to basically get a portal up and running with this.

Seeking some information about Intrexx as an English speaker can sometimes be a pain, but you will still find some, maybe just not as well documented.

Pros: - The modular principle makes it very easy to create applications and processes.
- The portalmanager is very organized.
- The Support from Intrexx is fast and competent.
- If you do not get any further with the on-board resources, it is easy to help out with external resources (javascript, Groovy, etc.)

Cons: - Looking for more 3rd party plugins in the next time.

Overall: I have been using Intrexx since the beginning of 2019 and have been able to implement many projects during this time.
The Intrexx Portal Manager in particular is a perfect tool for creating applications of all kinds.

I can only recommend Intrexx.

Pros: You could create an easy to use application from scratch without much hassle in a short amount of time. To create such applications as input, some basic evaluation and display of data there is no need to write a single line of code.

Cons: Really complex applications with intertwined data structures and integrated non-basic workflows would still need a fair amount of coding.

Overall: After having used Intrexx as a development platform as well as having worked with Intrexx portals as a user/administrator, i could really recommend the use of this software. The amount of time you need to get a system up and running with a few basic applications you need to make your work a lot easier is comparatively short.

Pros: Intrexx brings digitalisation and collaboration to a new level. We are using Intrexx for almost everything from managing our documents to scheduling meetings.

Cons: Sometimes it can be difficult to use the search function properly if you're not familiar with it.

Overall: In summary, it can be said that Intrexx is an ingenious platform. Working with employees works flawlessly, and creating applications is quick and easy.

Pros: Practical platform for sharing information in companies and simplifying communication on projects. Flexible and versatile.

Cons: Search function within Share could be improved in order to obtain relevant information more quickly.

Overall: We use Intrexx across the entire company and have been able to significantly improve and optimize our processes.

Pros: Intrexx is the easiest way to offer a portal service for everyone who has no skills in software development. There are many tools to create a site for internal or external use.

Cons: If you are a developer, it's quite complicated to host your code. A better integration for source control would be nice.

Overall: Our whole intranet is based on Intrexx. Our team has developed several portlets for extended use of this software.

Pros: Intrexx is a flexible and easy to use low code development platform. You can integrate different data sources and build forms, intranets, extranet and all other kind of portals. The module share is a basic collaboration tool with lots of built-in features for chats, groups, tasks and so on.

Cons: The smartphone app lacks some functionality, especially the chat capabilities could be better.

Overall: We use Intrexx intensively in our company for projects, internal information, and exchange within groups. We can no longer imagine central communication without it as a platform.

Pros: For us, it is the product of choice for business applications and project digitalization. The platform offers a high degree of customization and integration with other 3rd party software, including of the shelf connectors for the popular software.
The platform is very stable and is decreasing the time to market to roughly a quarter of the legacy development.
Also, the platform is taking care of the security topics as a standard creating a very good permission model that has to be managed by the administrators

Cons: The licensing starter package is quite big for small companies. Although within the market the results are similar, I believe that taking the small companies on board could be a benefit for the platform.

Overall: Overall I am recommending Intrexx as well as the low code philosophy as the development of tomorrow. As companies we don't need to invest in massive and expensive dev projects, now everything could be done much faster with Intrexx
And in this case, the resources used in the project are considerably lower than in the legacy development case, the time to market is considerably lower and the business can have quick advantages of digitalization in their day to day life

Pros: Intrexx is easy to use. Information can be made available from different platforms, quickly shared and communicated. Collaborative work and the development of ideas is encouraged

Cons: In my area, for which I use Intrexx, everything is fulfilled. The app on my cell phone offers me the possibility to inform myself about current topics.

Overall: Intrexx is an integral part of our company. The great advantage is that answers to inquiries and information reach colleagues quickly and in a targeted manner.

Pros: Thanks to the low-code approach it is really easy to create a database and website. So it is easy to use even for people that have no experience with coding.
But Intrexx also has some advanced features for experienced developers, so that complex websites can be realised.

Cons: The parent-datagroups and references are sometimes a bit inconsistent, because in some views you can access the data from the parent-datagroups and references and sometimes not.

Overall: Intrexx is a very good tool for new and experienced developers and besides some minor inconveniences the usability is very good.

Cons: Standard Apps are not useful. All apps we use have been programmed from scratch.

Overall: Overall a good platform we use for our Intranet and for digital processes. Not really low-code if you need complex apps and workflows.

Pros: A very simple and clear system. User friendly. Perfect for internal and external communication. Low Code is the key.

Cons: There's nothing I don't like about the system yet, as I am using it for 3 months now.

Overall: The platform offers many possibilities to "let off steam" creatively. From the simple share function to events, photo albums, etc., everything is possible.

Pros: Processes can be easily digitized and automated even with little programming knowledge.

The Portal Manager offers an incredible number of functions that can be placed in the development via drag & drop.

Cons: If a good look & feel is desired, a lot of manual scripting is required.

Overall: If the Intrexx functions are not sufficient, JavaScript, Velocity or Groovy can also be used.

Pros: With Intrexx, projects can be implemented more quickly. Why? The answer is quite simple.With the help of low code, it is possible to create entire portals within a very short time. The needs of the customer are put in the foreground. Furthermore, the individualization and adaptation to existing landscape is possible without any problems.

Cons: Intrexx is process-driven. In other words, the customer must know and understand their own processes.

Overall: From the extranet as a portal to use in Industry 4.0, Intrexx as a low-code expert ensures fast and easy implementation.

Pros: -very good no- and low code implementations to create, manipulate, and access data and data-structures from the core database

-if the functionality is not given from Intrexx there are very flexible options in the frontend over JavaScript or Velocity and the in the backend over Groovy to develop these functions by your own.

Cons: -the editor looks and feels a bit old in compare to other state of the art WYSIWYG Editors.

Pros: The choice to use Intrexx as our intranet platform was made because Intrexx, like a construction kit, already has many almost ready-to-use elements. The templates supplied could be adapted quickly without any code. After adjustments to the company's CI, the intranet was usable in a few days.

Cons: There was nothing to seriously criticize, but if I could ask for anything, I'd want "Skins" for more design options and a few more templates.

Overall: We built an intranet in our own data center in just a few days. After installing the server, it was set up with little effort. News, a dashboard, absence planner and libraries were ready with adapted templates in no time with practically no programming. The graphic workflow designer helped to map processes and the integration into existing systems such as Navision was done with no problems with connectors.

Pros: One of the good things in Intrexx is developing multiple application in one portal so you don't need 10 single applications on your system.
Another great feature is the permission system where you can configure who can see which application or use which button.
You can also create your own design for your intranet to get a focus of what is important and the best user experience.
With Javascript, Groovy and Velocity (and even importing Java libraries) you can do much more.

Cons: .. and there comes the contra part: it is called low-code development but if you what to create some applications with more functions than just showing something or add/save some data in your data base you will reach the end of low-code quite fast. Most of the time there is not that much to code in comparison to develop an actual program. But the worst part in it is there is almost no debugging function in Intrexx - it almost feels like coding in a blank texteditor - and makes coding really exhausting.

Overall: If you want to presenting calculated data out of your data base in a graph, saving some files with comments or references to other data or sending weekly e-mails for upcoming dead lines, Intrexx does a very good job in no time.
And developing an application in Intrexx is faster than developing an application from scratch also there are a few templates and ready-to-use applications.

Pros: The ease of use and the integration with other software is very good. It is a great platform for company internal affairs.

Cons: The branding of Intrexx could be better, it is not very well known by others.

Overall: Overall Intrexx is a great product for digitalization, because it is very flexible and easy to use.

Pros: With Intrexx you can design almost every kind of intranet for your company. On a basic level it is very easy to learn and to design pages and subpages and even getting you third-party systems integrated (e.g. in our case the ERP).

Cons: On a more sophisticated level, you definitely need training courses and development experience (java and groovy) e.g to develop more complex site connections and request. For us it was for example quite hard getting a simple .xlsx-import running.

Overall: Very good tool, but if you want to use more than the basic 25% it requires training and SW-development knowledge.

Pros: User-friendliness, flexibility in connection with good integration and various possibilities to implement future requirements. You can create a lot of ideas with Intrexx.

Cons: The competition is certainly even greater at the moment. In addition, the development environment, including debugging options, can still be expanded.

Overall: Unique insight into the possibilities of digitization. Various possibilities to implement different Use cases.
