IRIS+ is the generally accepted system for impact investors to measure, manage, and optimize their impact. It provides a comprehensive framework that translates impact intentions into measurable results, offering tools and guidance to integrate social and environmental factors into investment decisions alongside risk and return. By increasing data clarity and comparability, IRIS+ enables investors to describe goals, strategies, and expectations using a common language; learn from evidence-based research and best practices; compare performance using core metrics and standard data categories; act on impact data to drive better results; and communicate performance with stakeholders using standardized data and templates. The system is tailored to individual profiles and priorities, allowing users to select impact themes and Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) that align with their approach, and organize them into specific frameworks.
