About Hashalot
Join other miners to find blocks as a group. When anyone finds a block, everyone earns a piece of the reward. Mine on your own. You'll get the full block reward when you find a block, less any pool fees. Confirmed balances are processed once per hour. It takes 100 confirmations to confirm a block before balances are confirmed. The transaction fees for all balance payments are paid by Hashalot and included in each pool's fee. Once a block is confirmed, the reward is paid proportionately to the work that was done to find that block between all miners. Every share has a final value, where as in PPLNS, shares expire after some time. This payout scheme rewards the finder of the block with the entire block reward, less any pool fees. This is best for those with large hashrates.
