    "Endless frustration & staggering expense"

    Pros: Good sales team, that's for sure.

    Cons: I cannot begin to describe the level of frustration (or expense) that we have experienced in the last year. The accountants don't ask questions & don't shut up & listen long enough for us to complete a sentence anyway.
    Email questions or concerns go largely unanswered but rest assured they'll pull the payments for their 12 month contract shamelessly.

    Overall: Finally is a money grab. Run away!!

    Pros: There is nothing positive about finally unless you like spending money on a possible scam or complete incompetence.

    Cons: Absolutely the Worst Bookkeeping Experience I've Ever Had

    Working with Finally Bookkeeping was a complete nightmare from start to finish. I paid for services like reconciling and invoicing, none of which were ever completed. Scheduling a meeting was nearly impossible, and on the rare occasion I did manage to book one, they would cancel last minute and then follow up with a suspicious email trail that made it look like I had canceled. Unbelievably unprofessional.

    At one point, they told me my general ledger was incorrect, then asked me if I knew why, without providing any details. They miscategorized taxes paid as personal income, which is a major and avoidable error. When I asked them to pull a simple report, they told me I should contact my former bookkeeper instead. Completely unacceptable.

    For five months, they repeatedly asked me to submit the same reports. I complied every time, and every month they acted like it was the first time they'd asked. When I questioned whether I was submitting them incorrectly, I got no response.

    During onboarding, I watched them access all my accounts, yet every time I asked why something wasn't done, they claimed they didn't have access. I went through the entire process of granting permissions again, only to be told again that they didn’t have access.

    Whether this was incompetence or a scam, I can't say. But it was hands down the worst, most frustrating, and most unproductive experience I’ve ever had with a bookkeeping service. This is only a handful of examples of completely unprofessional and unacceptable practices. Save your time, money, and sanity. Look elsewhere.

    Overall: Do not waste your time or money. Find a company that you can actually work with. You don't want to end up with more work than if you had just done it yourself.

    Pros: Nothing to like.

    Cons: For 6 months they pulled $250 off my card! For 6 months they made me upload statements. For 6 months, I didn't hear a peep out of them. After 6 months, I wanted out. They beat around the bush getting back to me. Them my reps excuse was she was sick.

    Overall: They just stole $1250 from me and ghosted me for 6 months. DO NOT USE THE SERVICE!

    "If I could give Finally.com zero stars, I would"

    Pros: The sales process was believable and the salesperson was trustworthy. His name was Jack and I think he truly believed in what he was selling.

    Cons: Everything else. My experience was a complete disaster.

    Overall: I hired Finally.com in October 2024 to provide bookkeeping and tax services for three businesses. What I received was an absolute disaster:

    Bookkeeping services were never completed despite months of full payments.

    Tax preparation services were paid for but never delivered — I had to chase basic information that was promised and never provided.

    Repeated requests for completed financial records and copies of my service agreements were ignored or stonewalled.

    They falsely claimed work was done while providing only preliminary drafts for one company.

    Communication was abysmal. Professional responsibility was nonexistent.

    When I attempted to resolve the issues, they delayed, denied, and ultimately disappeared without fulfilling the terms of their own contract. After giving them every opportunity to make it right, I have now filed formal complaints with the FTC, BBB, Indiana Attorney General’s Consumer Protection Division, and CFPB.

    Small businesses beware: Finally.com overpromises, underdelivers, and disappears when held accountable. Save yourself the wasted money, wasted time, and extreme frustration.

    "STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY! THEY DESTROYED OUR BOOKKEEPING AND MADE US LATE FILING TAXES!!!"

    Pros: NOT ONE SINGLE THING! Everything about this company is a literal DISASTER and I could not fire them fast enough!!!

    Cons: EVERYTHING!!! NO communication, couldn't correctly categorize transactions, didn't handle one single thing for filing taxes, made us late to file and will cost us exorbitant late fees, took MONTHS for the first email about ANYTHING regarding our accounting, they take weeks to reply to an email but STILL don't answer questions, all they care about is their MONEY.

    Overall: STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!! My books are a MILLION times WORSE OFF than when they started "working on them" 5 months ago. Half the stuff is categorized WRONG. I paid them 3 months before I saw ONE email with any of our accounting info, and that was because I threatened to fire them. They have ZERO communication, you wait a week and a half to get a reply and it doesnt even answer any question you sent them! They *said* they were going to do our business taxes, but didn't get one single W9 for our subcontractors, didnt us WE were supposed to do that, AND didn't have ONE FORM done and I had to hire a local accountant to file and extension and help me get my bookkeeping in order (news flash - we are MONTHS away from fixing the butchering they did to our accounts!) This company is out of Puerto Rico just as an FYI, and EVERY SINGLE PERSON WHO WORKS THERE IS A TRAINWRECK. I am FURIOUS I wasted $2500 for ABSOLUTELY NOTHING aaannnddd it will cost us WHO knows how much in tax penalties bc they didn't do ONE THING I HIRED THEM TO DO. Finally is AWFUL and your business money will SUFFER if you let them anywhere near your accounting!

    "Worst company ever - do not trust them. "

    Pros: Nothing.

    Cons: They are slow, incompetent, and do not prioritize your needs as a customer. They just want your money and rave about how invisible customers and their "big accounts". All support agents who respond from their Zendesk are all avoidant. I've emailed multiple times and called, yet it takes them days if not over a week, to respond. I have expressed in more ways what my expectations are, and here we are 5 months later with no progress.

    Overall: Do not trust this company. If you need your taxes done even though they specialize in bookeeping do nottttttttttttttt use this company!!!! Trust me please. They are horrible.

    "Horrible Idea..."

    Pros: There was only 1 positive experience that we had when switching to Finally Bookkeeping, and that was speaking with the sales person when we were in our decision making process.

    Cons: Platform did not integrate with our bank. Poor customer service.

    Overall: We had a good sales person. They were very good at their job to the tune of speaking with our company's consultant who has an extensive background in market making and sales. Our consultant peppered the sales person with questions before allowing us to proceed with the switch to their platform.

    To provide context, our chart of accounts were up to date and everything that needed reconciled was up to date. There was little to do in regards to switching over, yet after 8 weeks they were still "reconciling and cleaning up our account". Their proprietary platform that gives the user a cleaner view than the QuickBooks dashboard, did not integrate with our bank so we basically had a blank screen to look at. The customer service was terrible. We were not able to meet with the bookkeeping and accounting team like was stated originally at the beginning. It was overall a bad experience.

    We had our attorney draft a letter of termination for breach of contract and demanded a full refund for all payments made for their services which they had zero problems fulfilling. As a matter of fact, that was the fastest response that they had for any request that we had over the 3 months we were attempting to use their services.

    STAY AWAY. If you need a service like this and are willing to pay this amount, just use QuickBooks live bookkeeping services. They did a 1000x better for us.

    "Take your money, offer nothing in return "

    Pros: Con artists who sell you the world but give you nothing! Couldn’t connect to my quickbooks, blamed it on me. Did nothing for two months and wanted paid. Wouldn’t refund me for months of work paid but nothing done, But they had no interest in fixing the situation.

    Cons: Took my money, did nothing for me. Asked for refund, denied! Scam artists!

    Overall: Terrible experience, I do not recommend. Very aggressive and rude individual representing them as well. Definitely go somewhere else if you’re expecting and quality customer service or effective performance.

    "NEVER HIRE THEM"

    Pros: Only one person, Emanuel, was helpful in the whole company. He was not a book keeper but the book keeper team was so terrible and was doing nothing he had to step in to try have things done (which he couldn't because he would have had to do do the whole book keeping).

    Cons: Nothing was straight. The book keepers don't work. Never on time. Everything is wrong. Put me in a situation worse than it was when nobody was doing it. Expensive. Lazy.

    Overall: Absolutely terrible. Expensive, full of promises than was never kept. Management just don't care that your business cannot be managed properly with books being totally false.
