About File Recovery Hero
File Recovery Hero recovers deleted and lost photos, videos and audio files from exFAT memory cards, from NTFS drives and from uncompressed IMG, DD, RAW and BIN disk images. On NTFS it reads the Master File Table, so deleted files come back with their original name and folder instead of as nameless fragments. The source medium is only ever read, never written to, never repaired and never formatted. Recovered files are always exported to a physically different drive. A file name in a result list is not proof that a file survived, so recovered media is validated before anything is reported as recovered: structure and expected size are checked, media files are demuxed and decoded, and unconfirmed results are marked UNVERIFIED. 34 formats can be selected individually.
