Anyone who does corrosion testing for metal finishing knows that this is a daunting task, but TestTrak makes it easy. Many of our customers have brought corrosion testing in-house to reduce cost and avoid the unpredictable results returned by outside laboratories. It doesn't take long to realize that loading, unloading, and monitoring salt-spray chambers is a non-trivial task. And the record-keeping for compliance with the ASTM B 117 specification is daunting. Set up reservoir depth to volume for each chamber. Log results for each panel: serial number, pit count, etc. Take pictures of panels or parts and link to load record. Proper collection volumes are automatically calculated.
