About Ecency

Ecency is an open source social media app built on the Hive blockchain. You publish posts, build communities and earn on-chain rewards (HIVE and HBD) for creating and curating content. Because your posts and identity live on-chain under your own account, you own what you create and no company can deplatform you. There are no ads.

Ecency works across web, iOS, and Android with one account. Because that account is a Hive account, the same login works across the wider Hive ecosystem and your content moves with you instead of being locked to one platform.

Features include communities, an in-app wallet for HIVE and HBD, drafts, scheduled publishing, short-form posts, bookmarks, notifications, search and Ecency Points that you can use to boost or promote content. Sign in securely with Hive keys through Keeper, Keychain, HiveSigner or HiveAuth.

It is free to use and fully open source under the MIT license, with source code publicly available on GitHub.
