"Great potential but full of bugs" Edited 2021-06-14
Pros: The UI is pretty and there are plenty of features to get started. The idea behind the overall design is good but the implementation not so.
Cons: Filled to the brim with bugs:
- We have currently a couple of thousand of projects and had to upgrade our server 2x because it was so terribly slow. Looks like a database issue, probably very inefficient queries.
- Certain settings do absolute nothing or not what it is supposed to do. For example "Inherit project members by default", "Easy buttons"
- Occasionally emails won't send even though it says it did.
- Terrible "bulk edit" options for projects/users/groups. The API is the only functional part (which they did not make themselves)
- Not Easy at all... We had to invest months until everyone understood how to work with it.Overall: I do not recommend. If you are looking for good functioning and reliable project management software, look elsewhere.

"It's not the same it was 8 years ago." Posted 2020-02-17
Pros: We've started with easyredmine 8 years ago and it was perfect. The team was all about project management, building the software that will work for any classic team with PMI project management process.
They were looking at what is important for the customers and building better and better modules. But things changed...Cons: Lately tried to purchase a knowledge base plugin. They let us pay for it, but then instead of getting a plugin, we have got a request to pay 1000 EUR to update the whole stack, or we won't get the plugin. We checked with the support manager and they do have version of a plugin that will work, but they still don't let us get it.
Overall: It seems like the company priorities has changed a lot and they are out of money and just squeeze all they can from their customers.

Just doesn't feel safe to bet on that platform. It probably won't stick for a long time...
