About DroneField
DroneField is precision agriculture software that turns drone imagery into actionable field intelligence: high-resolution orthomosaic maps, NDVI crop analysis, and variable-rate spray plans ready for agricultural spray drones. It exports to DJI Agras, XAG, ABZ Innovation, and ISOBUS-compatible equipment (KML, Shapefile, ISOXML). Built for spray drone operators, agricultural service providers, and farms, it covers the complete workflow: plan the flight, process imagery, identify problem zones, and export precise treatment maps. Results can be shared with clients via a simple web link. DroneField runs natively on Windows, macOS, and Linux, and processes data locally — your field data stays under your control. "best drone mapping software" Posted 2026-10-25
Pros: It is very fast and easy to use. I use it to plan flights for my DJI T100 drone. Creating an application plan is simple—just a few clicks and it’s done. You can also export the field boundaries and the application plan to a USB drive with a single click. What I really like is that we can use it right out in the field.
Cons: With one license, we can use it on only one machine.
Overall: Fast and accurate—exactly what we need for flight planning. The documentation is excellent; everything can be found in the manual or on the client portal.

"Fast, reliable, and promising software for drone mapping" Posted 2026-10-24
Pros: One of DroneField's greatest strengths is its impressive processing speed and ease of use. I use it for agricultural drone mapping, primarily processing imagery captured with my DJI Mavic 3 Multispectral.
I was particularly impressed when the software generated a full-resolution orthomosaic from 206 images covering 33 hectares in approximately 2.5 minutes.
This level of performance saves a tremendous amount of time and makes DroneField a very valuable tool for practical agricultural surveying and mapping.Cons: As the software continues to evolve, there are naturally some areas where further improvements would be welcome.
I would particularly appreciate enhanced integration with QGIS, additional export options, and further improvements in handling geospatial data.
These are suggestions for future development rather than major complaints, and they do not change my overall very positive experience with DroneField.Overall: I am the owner of TolnaDrón Kft., a Hungarian company specializing in precision agriculture and professional drone services.

I work with several drone mapping and agricultural data processing solutions, so I have a good basis for comparison.
DroneField stands out for its remarkable speed, straightforward workflow, and practical usability. In my experience, it is one of the most promising solutions for fast orthomosaic generation.
I truly appreciate the work and dedication behind this software. It is exciting to see how it continues to develop, and I look forward to future updates and additional professional geospatial features.
Congratulations to the developers on their excellent work! I wish the entire team continued success and look forward to using DroneField in my future projects.
