Pros: Lightweight and portable. All options and functions are packed into the simple and easy interface.
Good and stable connection.

Cons: Strange warning on the connection window saying that upnp is not enabled. I contacted vendor and was told to ignore this warning.

Overall: Overall experience is really good. The software has everything for everyday work. Even if you need to connect to your remote PC on the go, Distant Desktop allows you to do it (Android app is available as well).

Pros: Just get the free version. Free is great, cause customer service sucks. They claim to contact you within 24 hrs, but they don’t.

Overall: Disappointed!!! I email them thru their platform to fix an issue/error I was having, that was on 06/22/23 and 06/27/23, and still no help from them or I have not been contacted.

Pros: DD is perfectly designed, so even a child could use it. Also I like the support. These guys helped my a lot when I had some problems.

Cons: You can't change the output directory for the transferred files.

Overall: Perfect remote software for home and work. On work, I'm using it for access to the documents on my company PC. And at home I'm using it for helping my mom with her laptop.

Pros: It's free - this is the main advantage of this software. Second advantage is simplicity and ease of use.

Cons: Sometimes the signal is interrupted, and I have no mind why it's happening.

Overall: Overall this is a good application, but definitely not the best. If you are limited in your budget, then you can stop on it.

Pros: Personally I like the interface. It is very convenient for me. All controls are available on the title bar, the options can be adjusted right from the main menu. Everything is clear and easy to understand.

Cons: The signal speed could be higher. Sometimes there is a gap of 2-3 seconds.

Pros: The program is very easy to deploy. It has a minimalistic user-friendly interface, so even a child could use it.

Cons: The ID and password (which are generated by the program) could be shorter. My clients frequently make mistakes when they tell me this info.

Overall: The program is very easy to deploy. I just send a download link to my clients who require technical assistance. All they need to do is to click the "Download" button, then run application and tell me the ID and password. That's it, I'm ready to connect!

Overall: Very easy, helpful and free remote desktop tool. Yes, It has some bugs, but I believe that this software will become one of the most popular on the market.

Overall: We use Distant Desktop for screen sharing. There is a demonstration mode that allows you to show your desktop to another people. We are holding online lessons this way.

Overall: Overall this is a very good software. Especially if you compare it with commercial alternatives. It has 90% features of commercial apps.

Pros: It's free for business use (all other remote desktop softwares are not).

Overall: I am 100% satisfied with this small handy app. When you don't need too much options with your remote work, you can rely on this software.
