About DigitalProductPassport
DigitalProductPassport is the EU Digital Product Passport platform built by WIARA DAAS EOOD in Plovdiv, Bulgaria. A manufacturer enters product data once, in one language. We publish it as a static, CDN-served passport page in all 24 official EU languages, reachable from a QR code or GS1 Digital Link on the product.
Translation is the part we automate with AI: an LLM translates the free-text values at publish time, results are cached per manufacturer and baked into the pages, and every translated value shows an "automatically translated - view original" notice with a per-language human override.
The passport is sector-agnostic. We publish guidance for the ESPR-first product groups - iron and steel, textiles, furniture, construction materials - and the data model is designed toward CEN/CENELEC EN 18216-18223.
