About Decibri
Decibri is a Rust-based audio library for developers building real-time speech, voice-agent, and audio applications. It provides microphone capture, speaker playback, PCM streaming, audio-file processing, and a command-line interface through Python, Node.js, Rust, and browser APIs. Built-in features include voice activity detection, acoustic echo cancellation, and optional audio conditioning such as denoising, filtering, automatic gain control, and limiting. Developers can stream captured audio to cloud or local speech-to-text services and play generated speech through integrated audio output. Use cases include voice assistants, conversational agents, transcription, wake-word and keyword detection, interactive robotics, full-duplex speech, audio pipelines, and edge devices. Prebuilt native packages support Windows, macOS, and Linux; Python and Node.js packages require no additional build tools. The browser implementation provides capture, energy-based speech detection, and playback.
