About DWGdrop
DWGdrop is a web-based construction bid and drawing collaboration tool for contractors, estimators, subcontractors, architects, and engineering teams. It supports sending drawing packages and requests for quotation (RFQs) to trade partners, who can review materials and submit quotes through shared links. The browser-based workspace is described as supporting DWG, DXF, PDF, and spreadsheet-based bills of quantities, allowing teams to view and measure drawings and review quantities without a desktop CAD application. DWGdrop also provides RFQ status tracking, drawing revision handling, project questions and answers, and side-by-side quote comparison to help teams coordinate bid invitations and evaluate subcontractor responses. The workflow is intended for construction procurement and estimating teams exchanging drawings and bids with external partners.
