About CopyFolder

CopyFolder 1.8 is a filtered backup program that copies your files in their original formats. As a result, you can access your copied files without using this program. After using the preview feature to generate a list of files to copy and making any adjustments to this list, you can press the Copy button and then do something else while this program runs. Unless you tell it otherwise, CopyFolder will run unattended after initial validation until it copies all the files it can and presents a summary report. CopyFolder provides many options for copying the contents of one folder to another. Subfolders can be filtered by paths, names or patterns and may or may not include their subfolders. File names can be filtered by patterns. Files can be filtered by paths, dates, sizes or attributes and may optionally include typos. It has various overwrite and dispose options, including file versions. With an external compare program, text files can be compared before copying to see differences.

PerigeeCopy is a configurable Win32 shell extension that lets you copy, move, and delete files with the ease of Explorer's GUI, while at the same time adding additional features and options, not the least of which is the ability to resume after errors and retry any failed files at the end of the job. Copy or cut files and folders to the clipboard normally, using Explorer. Then right-click the destination folder, and select "PerigeePaste" (instead of "Paste"). Alternatively, check "Use PerigeeCopy by default" in the options dialog, and drag-drop files normally. As with Windows Explorer, files will be moved when the source and destination folders are on the same drive, and copied otherwise.

If you want to copy all the pictures ( Which are mixed with other files like music or documents ) from a Pendrive / hard disk to another location, Just drag and drop / browse the source and destination folders and specify which file types you need to copy/move, hit start, sit back and relax. You can see the progress in the main window itself. Check 'Preserve File Structure' to copy the subfolders along with the files and maintain the same file structure. Check 'Copy All' to copy all the files in the given folder.

yCopy2 is a backup/sync tool with multi-threading and a rich set of command-line variables. Warning: the SYNC option will recursively delete files & folders from the destination path which aren't present on the source. Use with caution, and experiment with unimportant files first. I've been using yCopy2 to back up my stuff for a couple of years now, but that doesn't mean the program will suit your needs. Use this software at your own risk. Due to a limitation in Microsoft .Net, yCopy cannot back up files where the source or destination path + filename is longer than 256 characters. E.g. C:\Temp\etc\etc\more stuff\(to a depth of 256 chars)\Some really long file name.doc. A network mode where yCopy2 will communicate in a client-server fashion, speeding up lan backups. Built-in scheduling to run backups at specified intervals. Compatible with Windows 7 SP1 and newer.
