Cisdem Duplicate Finder

Pros: Cisdem Duplicate Finder can accurately detect similar images on my Windows PC, even if their resolution or saturation has been changed, if they have been cropped, or if text has been added. The similarity of each detected image is displayed in the upper-right corner, which makes it easy to understand at a glance. In addition, the side-by-side preview of the found images makes comparison much easier.

Cons: Similar and duplicate images are listed on the same tab. Therefore, when there are too many duplicate images, I have to scroll down and manually select the similar images to delete. It would be better to display duplicate and similar images on separate tabs.

Overall: There are many modified images in the “Pictures” folder on my PC—more than 1,000. They hadn’t been cleaned up for a long time and were taking up a lot of storage space, especially since the space on my local disk (C:) is limited. By chance, I came across a post on Reddit and decided to try the trial version of Cisdem Duplicate Finder. It successfully identified these images, and I then purchased the full version.

Pros: Simple interface and very straightforward to use. It quickly found a lot of duplicate photos I didn’t even realize I had. The built-in preview pane made it easy to compare similar photos.

Cons: The scan can take a while if you have a very large number of files.

Overall: As a video editor, I store tons of screenshots and downloads, and my laptop was always running out of space. This tool helped me clean everything up quickly. Definitely useful.

Pros: It's easy to use, and I really like the auto-selection rules. They help me quickly select all but one file in each group of duplicates for deletion.

Cons: At first, I didn’t know how to scan my cloud drive for duplicates, but their customer support responded quickly and guided me through the process.

Overall: I had a lot of duplicate files on my computer but hadn't cleaned them up until I noticed my hard drive was almost full. So I tried this app. It's easy to use. It helped me removed all the duplicate files quickly.

Pros: Easy to use, scanning duplicate files is effective and fast(scans out 10+ thousands of duplicate files within 10 mins)

Cons: It can scan the similar images, but I doubt its accuracy.

Overall: If you just want to remove the duplicate files, it is a really good choice. They offer both annual license and lifetime license, the lifetime license is more affordable, be careful that the annual subscription is auto renewed.

Pros: Nothing.

Cons: Liars, they say that they guarantee 30 days refund but never respond to emails when you find out that the software does not work properly, i sent many emails with no respond back.

Overall: 0/10. Do not give them money.
