"Celerp replaced several disconnected systems and became our central ERP"

    Posted 2026-08-07

Pros: Celerp integrates inventory, manufacturing, sales, purchasing and accounting in one system, with accounting entries generated automatically from operational transactions. It handles our complex catalog of more than 5,000 products and supports stock transfers between offices, inventory sent to trade shows, customer consignments and physical stock audits. We also use it to print inventory and product labels, synchronize products and inventory with our website, and control what each user can see and do through detailed, flexible permissions. Because the system is hosted locally, we retain direct control over our business data.

Cons: Migrating and organizing data from several older systems into one coherent ERP took some time. We also initially had difficulty configuring our existing label printer to print barcode stickers correctly, although this was resolved with a software update.

Overall: Seven members of our team use Celerp to run nearly every part of our jewelry business. We manage more than 5,000 products, complex inventory movements, manufacturing, consignments, accounting and online sales.

Before Celerp, we used separate software for different business functions together with an external accounting system. Information had to be entered and managed across multiple systems. With Celerp, sales, purchasing, inventory and manufacturing are integrated with accounting, and the related accounting entries are generated automatically.

We use Celerp to print inventory labels, transfer stock between offices, track inventory sent to trade shows, perform stock audits, manage goods consigned to customers, support manufacturing and synchronize products and inventory with our website.

Celerp also provides detailed role-based access control. Each team member sees only the information and functions relevant to their responsibilities, and permissions can be adjusted as roles and operational needs change.

The system is hosted locally, so we retain direct control over our business data, while Celerp Connect allows us to connect and synchronize with our website.

For our business, Celerp has been transformative. It has given us one central record for products, materials and finished goods moving between locations, production stages, customers and trade shows. It is now the main system we rely on for daily operations.
