About Capture Studio
Capture Studio is a desktop screen recorder and video editor for making product demonstrations, tutorials, and other walkthrough videos. It records a display, application window, or selected area, with optional camera, microphone, and system audio. Its editor combines a multitrack timeline with automatic zooms, cursor effects, trimming, freeze frames, text, transitions, audio controls, and movable masks for obscuring sensitive information. Users can import existing recordings, generate and edit captions, create voiceovers from scripts, and refine scenes before export. Output options include MP4, MOV with ProRes 4444 and transparency, GIF, still images, and SRT captions, at resolutions up to 4K. Capture Studio runs as an installed application on macOS, Windows, and Linux; recording, editing, and exporting are local workflows, while AI captions, cutting, and voiceover use online processing and Tenzen Credits.
