Camascope is a cloud-based electronic medication administration record platform designed to digitize and streamline medication management for care homes, supported living services, and other social-care providers. It replaces paper-based medication charts with a secure digital workflow: staff use a mobile or tablet app at the point of care to scan medication barcodes, verify the correct resident, dosage, and time, and record administrations, even offline, with automatic sync when connectivity returns. Camascope supports scheduled medications, “as needed”, controlled drugs, and complex administration routines (e.g., linking vital-sign checks to certain meds or tracking topical rotations via body maps). It handles stock management with real-time inventory tracking and automated reorder alerts, integrates directly with pharmacies and GP/care-planning systems for smooth updates, and provides full audit trails, timestamped records, and real-time alerts.
