About CadVex
CadVex is CNC machine shop quoting software that turns STEP files and drawings into transparent, editable manufacturing cost estimates. The platform analyzes part geometry to detect manufacturable features, required operations, and assumptions that influence production costs. Estimators can review and modify material and stock costs, setup and programming, machining operations, finishing, inspection, outside operations, shop rates, quantities, margins, and other commercial assumptions. Built-in DFM feedback connects manufacturability warnings directly to the 3D model and explains potential manufacturing impacts and suggested changes. CadVex also tracks drafts, sent quotes, wins and losses while providing visibility into open pipeline, won value, win rates, and customer performance. The software is available as a Desktop version for Windows and Apple Silicon Macs with local CAD analysis or as a browser-accessible Cloud version with analysis performed in CadVex Cloud.
