About CHI Network
Events are temporary economies and an excellent opportunity to implement cryptocurrencies and blockchain technology. However, current blockchain networks have slow transaction speeds, are unsustainable, charge high fees, and don’t offer off-grid payment. CHI Network is a decentralized blockchain & DAO for the event industry that enables off-grid transactions. It is bridged to popular networks like Ethereum and works with CHI Coins, X Cash, and rewards. Stake and lock CHI tokens and receive extra rewards on ~ Cash holdings and extra perks like chargebacks. Fees are charged in CHI tokens for the use of protocols and the ticket marketplace. Income is divided in a 50/50 split for the event and CHI Network DAO. The token is used as collateral for proposals in the CHI Network and Event DAOs. Stake CHI Tokens in the court pool to become a juror and receive rewards in CHI Tokens for handling DAO disputes.

The upvote economy allows them to distribute a certain amount of upvotes each day to content creators. Creators and curators split rewards 50/50.
