Linux-AI OS is a Debian-based desktop operating system distributed as an installable ISO for 64-bit computers and virtual machines. Its free Star edition combines a Cinnamon desktop, Linux-AI branding, a first-run Welcome Center, and an integrated assistant for system information, application help, and explanations of Linux commands. The distribution is intended for people moving from Windows or macOS, Linux newcomers, developers, and experienced desktop users. A separate Premium edition adds locally run applications for mail assistance, voice, image creation, image-to-video, audio recording, virtual-machine management, and Ollama model management. Users install the system on compatible hardware or run it in a virtual machine. The project publishes hardware requirements, ISO downloads, checksums, and release information.
