"Realistic phishing simulations built for how attacks actually work today!"

    Posted 2026-07-03

Pros: Baited stands out because the phishing simulations feel much closer to real social engineering than standard template-based awareness tools. The AI and OSINT-driven approach makes campaigns contextual, relevant and much more believable for employees. I also liked that the platform connects simulation with interactive awareness, so the learning moment happens immediately after the scenario instead of feeling like a separate training module. For security teams, the value is clear: it helps expose how public company information, roles and trust patterns can become attack material.

Cons: Baited is still a young platform, so buyers expecting a huge legacy ecosystem, endless third-party integrations or a massive review base may need some reassurance during evaluation. Some advanced reporting and benchmark features could also become stronger over time as more campaign data is collected across customers. That said, the core concept is already very sharp and different from traditional phishing simulation tools.

Overall: Our overall experience with Baited was very positive. The platform brings a more realistic and attacker-minded approach to phishing simulation, moving beyond generic templates and checkbox awareness training. What makes it valuable is the combination of AI, OSINT and human-layer risk: campaigns feel relevant because they are built around the kind of public signals attackers would actually use. It is especially useful for organizations that want to understand how employees react to credible, contextual phishing attempts and improve awareness without turning training into boring compliance theatre. Baited feels like a strong fit for teams looking for modern, realistic phishing simulations in the AI and social engineering era.
