RadioBOSS provides a suite of Windows applications for professional radio automation, broadcast recording, and live Internet audio encoding. RadioBOSS helps terrestrial and online stations, businesses, shops, restaurants, and event broadcasters convert and manage audio assets, build playlists, schedule hourly blocks and advertising, create rotations, apply crossfades and automatic volume leveling, and run programming unattended for days, weeks, or months. It supports Shoutcast, Icecast, Windows Media Services, and RTMP streaming, automatically sends metadata through FTP, HTTP requests, text, or XML files, and can place streamed Internet audio directly into playlists. Users can work with preferred audio formats, Winamp and VST plug-ins, multichannel sound cards, individual profiles, and access controls. RadioBOSS continuously records broadcasts or captures them during specified periods, compressing audio directly into small files without an intermediate WAV file.
