"With Plangrid there will be no doubt when we present a project"

    Posted 2021-04-11

Pros: The Plangrid application has been very useful for project management and the activities that will be performed for its completion. It offers tools and allows us to create in detail each task to be performed for such projects. In addition to this, so that the information arrives completely, to each activity we can add a reference photograph or an explanatory video so that the instruction is understood correctly to all collaborators.

Cons: We have had difficulties when comparing activities and results with the option of overlapping plans since the application becomes slow or stops sometimes. Similarly, it does not have an offline storage option so employees must remain with a working internet connection or the information stored in the cloud will never be synchronized.

Overall: We noticed a couple of function limitations in some aspects or because it does not maintain a good internet connection. However, the application has been totally useful to clarify any doubts you may have when scheduling a project or activities. Its multimedia explanation option has simplified our performance in a remarkable way.

"Plangrid surprises with its ease of organizing projects "

    Posted 2021-03-29

Pros: It is an application that is excellent for issuing short and clear comments and suggestions on a given project site, in addition to which images, audio and video can be used to detail the given observation. In addition, its platform is very simple and provides accessibility to projects quickly.

Cons: If you have poor internet signal, updating and synchronization of the projects displayed in Plangrid on several devices at once can present problems, the platform becomes slow and functions such as overlaying plans when you need to compare activities or results are difficult.

Overall: The use of this program is recommended if you will be managing a major construction program that needs a significant degree of organization. Although its platform leaves much to be desired when subjected to low internet signals, it makes up for it with features such as a change history for each project.

"With Plangrid we keep our construction drawings up to date"

    Posted 2021-03-22

Pros: Within Plangrid we generally plan the whole process that will be carried out to build a building. For this we usually use the photo viewer system that is included internally, to review and verify the project plans, and all the observations and notes that are made on top of them, as they can be superimposed with information.

Cons: The level of synchronization obtained through Plangrid is relatively poor when verifying different plans that are in more than one terminal. When hyperlinks are created within the plans they often do not lead to any web page even if they have already been programmed with a specific destination to which they should lead.

Overall: To work with large construction projects that necessarily require high logistics it is best to use services such as Plangrid, which saves time by unifying all the platforms on which you would usually work with construction drawings on a single screen, or in some cases, on several screens that can interact with each other.

"Plangrid is the best proposal for reviewing plans"

    Posted 2021-03-20

Pros: Since PlanGrid allows you to work with a completely unlimited number of sheets, it is convenient to be able to overlay sheets with plans and documents over and over again without any problems, allowing you to create new sample content on the work of other employees. The dozer plan only costs $60 per month, and offers 5,000 sheets to work with.

Cons: The crane plan, as opposed to the dozer plan, is twice as expensive, and despite offering an unlimited number of sheets there are not many improvements in terms of photo and document management. In terms of budget options, Plangrid also doesn't have much to offer by leaving out basic features such as tracking.

Overall: PlanGrid is a service that can clearly become indispensable for good administrative management of drawings and contractors in general. It is good for increasing the speed of reporting and quality control in general, since you can make notes of all the problems and solutions that arise during the work.
