Assembly Neos

Pros: The updated and more robust intake system is excellent. Neos is cloud-based and can be accessed from any computer. The "@user" tagging feature that can be used from the Notes section of cases.

Cons: Load times are often extremely slow, and attempting to run searches often causes the software to crash.

Overall: In many ways, the Neos program is a great update to Needles. Visually, it feels far more sleek and modern than earlier versions of Needles. The updated Intakes, in particular, are excellent. It is such a relief to finally be able to easily tag notes to intakes, and to save documents in one place. The tagging system for notes is also excellent and a great addition to the program.

However, slow load times and frequent crashes are significant drawbacks that can make the software frustrating to deal with.

Pros: Works well when it isn't going slow.
Love that you are able to work on files and it saves automatically.
Love the report section on creating different reports.

Cons: Sometimes it goes slow.
Gets stuck from time to time.

Overall: Neos overall is a well managed system; very useful resources; very easy to find stuff if needed.

Pros: Task prompts to work the case.
Organization.
Generating docs.
integration with emails and text.
TEXTING and EMAILING.

Cons: Can't save a pdf to file without having it open.
Too many coding problems with templates.

Overall: I do love the software and I have used many others. This is by far the easiest and I am confident in my cases due to it.

Pros: Needles Neos Checklist is very useful to use to check the things you have already completed and you can keep a tab on it and the easy to navigate.

Cons: Some feature on Needles like the templates should be easier to obtain and add.

Overall: Needs is overall easy to navigate and is very useful for an office environment and I use it everyday.

Pros: Easy to get through, find information, customer service is easy to reach when there is an issue. The system is fast to click through and find what you are needing. I just feel this system is super easy to use and user friendly.

Cons: I don't have any bad things to state about NEOS. Been using it for over 6 months, and I have no complaints.

Overall: Overall my experience using this program is a 10 out of 10. I like the program, figured out this program my 3rd day of working and enjoyed using it.

Pros: The new Needles Neos is far superior to its predecessor. Tons of already created reports and very easy to config to your firms liking. We use it daily and now that it is cloud based have very few issues with any server issues or down time. Customer support is great and they have a great database of how-to videos and training. Everything is customizable when it comes to the layout of sections of the program.

Cons: They update it often (it is newer so that could be why) but the updates confuse staff or will send errors until browsers are cleared, etc. It can be a pain but once the staff have figured out how to fix these problems things will go more smoothly. Another con for me/us is the expense. You pay per user so if you have a very large firm it could get pretty pricey.

Overall: Overall, I would recommend this case management system to other smaller firms (due to price point) and just make sure you have a staff member dedicated to learning admin functions. It is a solid product and we have used it for 15 years.
