    Pros: Easy to configure and use.
    Good availability using Multi AZ.
    Multi lingual support.
    IAM based access control.
    Fully managed - minimal effort required.
    Affordable.

    Cons: No cons, it is a good service which competes with ElasticSearch and is better if you don't need custom implementation.

    Overall: Amazon CloudSearch is a search service provided as a part of AWS. It is fully managed, secure, reliable, highly available and provides good search performance.
