Photogrammetry computer vision framework for anyone
About AliceVision
We build a fully integrated software for 3D reconstruction, photomodeling and camera tracking. We aim to provide a strong software basis with state-of-the-art computer vision algorithms that can be tested, analyzed and reused. Links between academia and industry is a requirement to provide cutting-edge algorithms with the robustness and the quality required all along the visual effects and shooting process. Photogrammetry is the science of making measurements from photographs. It infers the geometry of a scene from a set of unordered photographies or videos. Photography is the projection of a 3D scene onto a 2D plane, losing depth information. The goal of photogrammetry is to reverse this process. The dense modeling of the scene is the result yielded by chaining two computer vision-based pipelines: “Structure-from-Motion” (SfM) and “Multi View Stereo” (MVS).

3DF Zephyr
3DF Zephyr lets photogrammetry catch on in multiple scenarios fostering different targets and needs by taking advantage of an all-in-one software suite. Our in-house technology is as versatile and user-friendly as possible and it can easily be adapted to the users’ skills. 3DF Zephyr allows performing 3D reconstructions automatically by using pictures and video data taken with any sensor and captured using any acquisition techniques. You can use different cameras, lenses and focal lengths during the same surveying and scanning session. Get the most out of aerial and ground photogrammetry by processing videos, spherical pictures, multispectral and thermal + RGB imagery on a single software platform. 3DF Zephyr is not just photogrammetry: import, register and analyze your laser scan data (native file formats supported).

openMVG
Extend awareness of the power of 3D reconstruction from images and photogrammetry by developing a C++ framework. Simplify reproducible research with easy-to-read and accurate implementation of state of the art and "classic" algorithms. OpenMVG is designed to be easy to read, learn, modify and use. Thanks to its strict test-driven development and samples, the library allows to build trusted larger systems. OpenMVG provides an end-to-end 3D reconstruction from images framework compounded of libraries, binaries, and pipelines. The libraries provide easy access to features like images manipulation, features description and matching, feature tracking, camera models, multiple-view-geometry, robust-estimation, structure-from-motion algorithms, etc. The binaries solve unit tasks that a pipeline could require scene initialization, feature detection & matching and structure-from-motion reconstruction.

RealityCapture
RealityCapture is a general-purpose fully-featured photogrammetry software for creating virtual reality scenes, textured 3D meshes, orthographic projections and much more from images and/or laser scans completely automatically. RealityCapture is the state-of-the-art photogrammetry software solution that is changing the industry. It is currently the fastest solution on the market, which brings effectivity to your work and allows you to focus on your targets. Create virtual reality scenes, textured 3D meshes, orthographic projections, geo-referenced maps and much more from images and/or laser scans completely automatically. For architects it is important to visualize the design of a house or building in its future setting, not just in isolation. This may serve for attractive presentation but also for verifying relationships in a real context or for presentation of the output to the client, who immediately gets an idea of the result.

Roux
Add 3D vision to your app with ease. The Roux SDK provides a robust, stable, simple API for developers to interact with a multitude of depth-sensors. You don’t need to be a computer vision expert to use Roux. We do the heavy lifting so you can focus on creating a program that uses 3D data in innovative ways. Natively fix flying pixels, auto-patch over exposed meshes - from scanning to SLAM, Roux makes it all possible. Roux does more than just create beautiful 3D scans. Our proprietary technology includes the features other teams would need to build from scratch. Live, on-device, collaborative tracking, scanning, meshing, and SLAM. Scandy’s existing 3D software allows your team to hit the ground running on iOS, MacOS and Linux. Initializing the SDK is easy – drop the framework into your project and you are ready to go. We’ve done the heavy lifting on the computer vision side to make your development lighter.
