Create and modify DWG drawings locally, with files stored on your computer, or in sync with Google Drive, Box, OneDrive, Dropbox, Onshape, Trimble Connect. Alternatively, you can also store files in a private Cloud server (via WebDAV).

    "Very good alternative to AutoCAD"

    Pros: Our company has been using AutoCAD before for more than 10 years. We found ARES Commander looking for cost savings and Perpetual licenses. Our 6 users could switch almost instantly. We liked also the ability to work on two computers or more. But most interestingly we see how year after year ARES is introducing new features for cloud, mobile and BIM that are making a big difference for us.

    Cons: The software and the help files are in French but all the tutorial videos to learn new features are in English.

    Overall: I think ARES Commander is a very good replacement for AutoCAD. It works in the same DWG format and the price is significantly lower.
