2ndLine is an app that gives you a second phone number with free calling and messaging, available on Android. 2ndLine uses your Data or WiFi connection to provide your phone with an additional line. Just download the app, pick a phone number, and immediately access unlimited calling and texting from an additional line on your phone. 2ndLine uses your device's existing internet connection to text and call numbers in the US and Canada. The person you're contacting doesn't need to be a 2ndLine customer in order to receive your texts and calls or send you a text or call. When you first sign up for 2ndLine, we'll ask you to enter an area code from the US or Canada, and let you select a number from an available pool of numbers in that area code. Please note that 2ndLine only has numbers within the US and Canada. If we don't have any numbers available in your area code at the time you sign up, we'll let you select a number in the area code closest to you.

I paid for premium subscription and to locked my number. May 11. I got a text from this app that my phone is limited to sending text n call for 24 hrs. The i emailed them. Next dat it runs again. Then after few days Last may 16th i paid for my monthly subscription. Then there an update. Then after the update. My account is blocked. I cant sign in. Emailed the CS. they said. They cant fix it. Reason: I violated terms and condition. Took my money. Then blocked my account for nothing. I did download third app for use it for free. I paid for this. Monthly. Even in my other account for years. -

Pros: I got excited on the few days the service did work... But that was not going to last very long because it does not work reliably.
Cons: The service does not reliably work. It does not text the way you think it will! If you send it a text, it will send you back a garbled link from a spammy other number your callers will not recognize. They will not allow you to port your number. The service is unreliable and support doesn't care.
Overall: Terrible! I really wish I hadn't used this for my business!!! I feel like a fool. Do more research than I did.

Pros: Does work sometimes but most times cuts off in mid call. When I contacted them, they made the excuse that it was my internet, but I have Verizon Internet with 300 Mbps, which is more than enough! Sometimes it works fine and sometimes it don't.
Cons: Calls constantly drop off, hard to reclaim codes, they are LAZY OR INCOMPETENT and don't want to update the app to fix bugs. App is way overrated.
Overall: Crappy. They don't know what they doing and don't care. They refuse to put any effort into the app and unlike other apps, refuse to update it, so the problems continue. All these apps seem to be of low quality, but at least other apps are occasionally updated. I would not recommend using this app.
