    Postfix

    Postfix

    Postfix

What is Postfix? It is Wietse Venema's mail server that started life at IBM research as an alternative to the widely-used Sendmail program. Now at Google, Wietse continues to support Postfix. Postfix runs (or has run) on AIX, BSD, HP-UX, IRIX, LINUX, MacOS X, Solaris, Tru64 UNIX, and other UNIX systems. It requires ANSI C, a POSIX.1 library, and BSD sockets. Postfix attempts to be fast, easy to administer, and secure. The outside has a definite Sendmail-ish flavor, but the inside is completely different. Multiple SMTP deliveries over the same TLS-encrypted connection. This reuses the existing tlsproxy(8) and scache(8) services. MySQL stored procedure support. Gradual degradation: in many cases a Postfix daemon will log a warning and continue providing the services that are still available, instead of immediately terminating with a fatal error. Postfix can set the execute bit on a queue file. If this does not work, then no mail will ever be delivered.

    Prometheus

    Prometheus

    Prometheus

Power your metrics and alerting with a leading open-source monitoring solution. Prometheus fundamentally stores all data as time series: streams of timestamped values belonging to the same metric and the same set of labeled dimensions. Besides stored time series, Prometheus may generate temporary derived time series as the result of queries. Prometheus provides a functional query language called PromQL (Prometheus Query Language) that lets the user select and aggregate time series data in real time. The result of an expression can either be shown as a graph, viewed as tabular data in Prometheus's expression browser, or consumed by external systems via the HTTP API. Prometheus is configured via command-line flags and a configuration file. While the command-line flags configure immutable system parameters (such as storage locations, amount of data to keep on disk and in memory, etc.). Active Directory
Active Directory stores information about objects on the network and makes this information easy for administrators and users to find and use. Active Directory uses a structured data store as the basis for a logical, hierarchical organization of directory information. This data store, also known as the directory, contains information about Active Directory objects. These objects typically include shared resources such as servers, volumes, printers, and the network user and computer accounts. For more information about the Active Directory data store, see Directory data store. Security is integrated with Active Directory through logon authentication and access control to objects in the directory. With a single network logon, administrators can manage directory data and organization throughout their network, and authorized network users can access resources anywhere on the network. Policy-based administration eases the management of even the most complex network.

    Concourse

    Concourse

    Concourse

Concourse is an open-source continuous thing-doer. Built on the simple mechanics of resources, tasks, and jobs, Concourse presents a general approach to automation that makes it great for CI/CD. A Concourse pipeline is like a distributed, continuous Makefile. Each job has a build plan declaring the job's input resources and what to run with them when they change. Your pipeline is then visualized in the web UI, taking only one click to get from a failed job to seeing why it failed. The visualization provides a "gut check" feedback loop: if it looks wrong, it probably is wrong. Jobs can depend on other jobs by configuring passed constraints. The resulting chain of jobs and resources is a dependency graph that continuously pushes your project forward, from source code to production. All configuration and administration is done using the fly CLI. The fly set-pipeline command pushes the config up to Concourse. Once it looks good, you can then check the file in to source control.
