About

SimplyRCS is a US-focused RCS Business Messaging platform from Signalmash. Brands send verified, branded, two-way rich messages, carousels, images and tappable buttons into the default Messages app on both iPhone and Android, with no app to download. Describe a bot in plain English and the AI builds it on a visual canvas, then runs it in production, answering only from content you approved and handing off to a human when a conversation needs one. One account covers RCS, SMS, MMS, short codes, toll-free, 10DLC and WhatsApp, with automatic SMS and MMS fallback so delivery never depends on the handset. It includes campaign blasts, a shared inbox, contact lists with auditable opt-in logging, and delivery and engagement analytics. Brand registration, 10DLC, carrier vetting and Google RCS sender verification are handled in-house. The platform runs on direct Tier-1 US carrier connections and is SOC 2 Type II attested.

About

Textla is a cloud-based SMS marketing and messaging platform that makes it easy for businesses to send bulk text messages, manage contacts, and run campaigns from a simple interface. You can upload contact lists (via CSV or integrations), organize them into segments or tags, and then send personalized bulk texts or run scheduled campaigns. Textla supports two-way messaging, meaning recipients can reply, and those responses appear in an inbox that can be shared with a team. It also includes automatic list-cleaning to remove invalid or undeliverable numbers, reducing waste on dead contacts. It provides real-time analytics at the carrier level, so you can see which messages were delivered or failed (including error codes), giving you greater visibility into campaign performance. Additional features include message personalization (names, custom fields), scheduling, keyword opt-ins to grow your list, and integrations to connect with tools like CRM systems.

Pros & Cons from Real Users

Pros

  • SimplyRCS workflow and automation features are useful when a customer journey has several steps. Visual workflow tools make it easier to think through what should happen after a customer receives or responds to a message.
  • I like the business branding in the messaging experience. Having the company name, logo and verification visible makes the message feel more identifiable than an ordinary text from an unknown number. Rich content is another nice addition.
  • For support use cases, rich media is particularly helpful. Customers can share photos or videos when explaining an issue and interactive replies make it easier to guide them through simple steps. Conversations can also be managed and assigned when needed.
  • I like that SimplyRCS combines normal messaging with richer content. We can use business branding, images, videos, carousels, call to action buttons and fast replies in the same customer communication flow. That makes things like appointment reminders, purchase updates, promotions and support messages more practical. The workflow automation is also useful when there are several customer steps to manage. It saves the team from handling every interaction manually.
  • SimplyRCS helped my team enable new-gen two-way communication that helped us increase the conversion rate and allowed us to send promotional and shipping updates directly to their message inbox. It is super easy to use, and onboarding was seamless. The ui design is intuitive.

Cons

  • For more complicated workflows, I'd like to see additional customization options. The basic workflow approach is straightforward, but advanced requirements may need more configuration.
  • Quality of the experience can depend on network and carrier support. Thats something teams need to consider when planning campaigns.
  • Initial setup may take some time for teams that aren't already familiar with RCS. More technical guidnace during setup would be useful.
  • There is still some dependence on carrier and device support. If the customer doesn't have RCS available, the message may fall back to SMS, so you can't always rely on the full rich media experience. Some advanced customization and integrations could also be deeper.
  • Had a pretty smooth experience, no downside to share.
