Pros & Cons from Real Users Pros Selflessly is an easy-to-use platform that increases employee engagement through charitable giving and serving. The causes that we all care about need people and money to sustain their contribution to the community- Selflessly enables you to do both. One of the benefits we hadn't considered before adopting the platform was the opportunity for healthy competition Selflessly offered to our team. As teams see each other making an impact, they share why their respective causes matter, increasing team bonding and serving as a catalyst to increasing community impact. I like how responsive the Selflessly team is. They are a young company and very open to hearing and building out needs we have. Selflessly's product is very easy to use and integrated seamlessly into our existing business processes. The features that are most impactful are the ability to aggregate our volunteer hours and donations across our entire staff. Cons In my mind, there are two cons to Selflessly. 1. They don't currently offer an app- although I'm sure they will offer this in the future. 2. Many of the smallest local charities may not be listed until you reach out to support and have them get them connected. There are a few little items for customization we want, but the Selflessly team has been very transparent to progress and updates. The software is very comprehensive, but if I had to suggest an additional feature it would be to add an option to upload pictures of volunteers participating in their events/activities.	Pros & Cons from Real Users Pros Volunteer Local has been a great platform for our organization! We use if for scheduling, creating events, and communicating with our volunteers and clients. It is also a great way to create reports and keep on top of your organizations progress. If that weren’t enough, Volunteer Local tech support is amazing! Our representative has provided one-on-one trainings, shared tutorials, and resources. Whenever we have a question she responds with lightning speed! I highly recommend Volunteer Local! The user interface is simple and straightforward. Our Volunteer program has never run smoother. Also, the support team at VL has been amazing at helping us problem solve to make the software work for our situation. The developers and tech support staff are the reason we're using this platform. They are incredibly responsive when we have any problems or questions. I can tell they are determined to make the platform work for our organization. I can't overstate how pleased we are with their efforts. Great tech support. Efficient way to track registrations. Easy set up. Consistent and trusted product. Has all the features I would ever want or need, easy to use, easy to train others to use, and lastly timely and friendly support from the staff! Cons No complaints. The application function requires you to complete it before you can see the shifts that are available, and that feels somewhat counterintuitive. I have no complaints! My frustration with other database solutions was that I couldn't speak to a person when I had a problem. With VolunteerLocal, they are quick to jump on a zoom call whenever I need help, and they are very generous with developer time when I need a new feature. Nothing. I have not had any issues with this. Bravo! I haven't experienced any cons with this system, it is perfect!
