About

We are a team of engineers who love building tools for other engineers. Our goal is to create the email platform we've always wished we had — one that just works. Receive real-time notifications directly to your server. Every time an email is delivered, opened, bounces or a link is clicked. Simulate events and experiment with our API without the risk of accidentally sending real emails to real people. Simulate events and experiment with our API without the risk of accidentally sending real emails to real people. Rely on a platform of reputable IPs used by trustworthy senders with distributed workloads across different IP pools. Get a fully managed dedicated IP that automatically warms up and autoscales based on your sending volume, with no waiting period. About

Reliable SMTP relay and email delivery services. Powerful email delivery services that enable you to send and track high volume emails effortlessly. Integrate and start sending in minutes. All your transactional, email relay and email delivery needs under one roof. Whether you need a low-latency email delivery provider for your transactional emails, scalable infrastructure for high-volume sends or reliable backend solution for your marketing campaigns, SMTP is built to deliver. Reputation Defender is SMTP’s proprietary technology that uses big data to proactively monitor your email list health and safeguard your domain and IP reputation among ISPs by suppressing bad emails in your sends from hard and soft bounces. This ensures your delivery rates and inbox placement incrementally gets better over time.

Pros & Cons from Real Users

Pros

  • Having the ability to send transactional emails via API makes integrating Resend into an application significantly easier. We set up Resend to handle key transactional emails such as verifying accounts, sending forgot password emails and notifications about usage in our customer accounts. It was easy for our developers to integrate and the pricing scales nicely.

Cons

  • To be honest as long as you know that Resend is designed for transactional emails, and not marketing emails, there's no major negatives of the platform itself. I would have given it 5 stars, but the jump in pricing to have 7 day data retention is higher than I would have liked.

Pros & Cons from Real Users

Pros

  • None, the product worked to begin with but when it stopped working the support was dreadful and they locked us in.
  • N/A.

Cons

  • The smtp service itself has intermittent failures that are reluctantly admitted after battering down the support door several times to find out why sites aren't sending emails. Worse still they have a plugin that was heartily sold to me as the Wordpress plugin when I started with them - this was supported gingerly at first, then, it still being on version 1 was entirely disowned by them - despite the plugin having all their branding and their site details and being published and distributed on the Wordpress platforms ... by them. They simply deny it now, having pushed me towards it and supporting it initially.
  • Bad SMTP. Bad dashboard. Bad support. Bad price. Bad advantages. Bad everything.
