Pros from Real Users Pros Rent Manager delivers great value for medium-to-large portfolios, though it’s pricey for small landlords—customer support is responsive but slower at month-end, and while the desktop version is powerful once you learn it, the mobile app still has occasional bugs and crashes; that said, tenant and rental management are excellent, with reliable rent collection and deep customization options. Incredibly smooth implementation process, really set me up to be able to go out on my own after the 3 months. Very good program for managing tenants and reports for the real estate management firm. easy to use. If you want great customer service that is what you will get. Not only are they quick to solve the issue but they go extra mile and are very patient and kind. user friendly and intuitive software. Boost your team's efficiency with a seamless, easy to use interface I really find texting to be huge, as it allows for seamless and fast communication with all of our tenants in the building, as well as other properties. Rent Manager provides clear oversight to those in management about what's going on with tenants and prospects, which means anyone can pick up where someone left off with full clarity. The ability to integrate with our leasing software is essential. The UI and graphical aspect of Rent Manager is easier to grasp and more straightforward than Yardi. The initial setup was also very easy. The system brings leasing, maintenance, accounting, reporting, and tenant communication into one easy‑to‑use platform. The search tools, workflows, and automation options save a tremendous amount of time. I also appreciate how smoothly it integrates with third‑party tools and how powerful the reporting features are. The IT person was very helpful and very polite. He went in to use my computer to double check to make sure everything was correct. It was. user friendly & I can always call support if I get stuck. Rent manager university was a huge help to me coming from QuickBooks. I did quite a few tutorials. Great customer support, they are willing to help with anything and are super joyful to speak to. As well as the reporting is top-notch		Pros & Cons from Real Users Pros 1. The support team was helpful during setup and didn't make me feel like I was bothering them with basic questions. 2. They understood the property management side of things instead of just pointing me toward generic documentation. 3. Getting started felt much less stressful because I knew someone could help if I got stuck. The expense tracking tools are straightforward and let me attach receipts right where they belong, which saves so much time. Work order and maintenance management keeps every tenant request linked to the right property and automatically updates the status as things get done, so nothing falls through the cracks. Everything is connected, and I can see the full picture of expenses and tasks in a single view. 1. Double-entry ledger and chart of accounts are set up out of the box, so I don’t have to spend hours setting up categories. 2. Reconciling accounts and tracking income/expenses for multiple properties is way simpler now. 3. Generating financial statements for owners is painless, which keeps everyone happy. 1. Unlimited support and training meant figuring out the system didn’t feel overwhelming. 2. Data import support made moving everything from my old setup way easier than I expected. 3. The team is patient and genuinely helpful even when I stumble. Lease applications and leasing management are surprisingly smooth. Accounts receivable and payable are easy to reconcile, which saves a ton of time every month. I don’t have to double-check payments across multiple systems anymore. Also, Receivables and payables are neatly tracked in one place. Hella convenient Cons I would like to see more detailed guides for some of the less commonly used features. Sometimes I still prefer figuring things out on my own first. A few maintenance workflows could use more customization to fit unique properties, and while the mobile version is handy, I still prefer the desktop version for larger batches of tasks. The learning curve was a little steep at first if you’re not used to accounting jargon. 1. Responses can sometimes take a bit longer during peak hours. 2. Training sessions feel a little packed, so it’s easy to miss small details. It's such a great PMS but why doesn't it have an app yet? Feels like a huge dealbreaker at times
