About

GE Vernova's Digital Optimization services, featuring the PowerUp platform, offer wind farm operators a comprehensive suite of digital analytics tools designed to enhance turbine performance and increase annual energy production by up to 8%. PowerUp conducts a thorough historical analysis of each turbine's configuration, performance, and operational history, alongside site-specific environmental conditions, to establish a baseline and identify potential AEP improvements. By connecting turbines to the industrial internet, the platform enables real-time optimization of production levels based on turbine-specific environmental, operational, and economic factors. This flexible, outcome-based solution is available for both new and existing service agreements, ensuring operators pay only for validated performance gains.

About

Simpack is a general multibody system simulation (MBS) software enabling analysts and engineers to simulate the non-linear motion of any mechanical or mechatronic system. It enables engineers to generate and solve virtual 3D models in order to predict and visualize dynamic motion, coupling forces and stresses. Simpack is used primarily within the automotive, engine, HIL/SIL/MIL, power transmission, railway, and wind energy industrial sectors, but can be applied to any branch of mechanical engineering. Simpack simulation software is particularly well-suited to high frequency transient analyses, even into the acoustic range. Simpack was primarily developed to handle complex non-linear models with flexible bodies and harsh shock contact.
