About
Port Detective is a native Windows application from Automata Labs that helps users identify which process is using a specific port. The software is designed to solve common port conflicts such as EADDRINUSE: address already in use without requiring users to manually parse command-line output from tools like netstat or tasklist. Its free edition provides a live listening-port viewer, instant port lookup, process ownership details, executable paths, and a limited number of safe process kills. Port Detective Pro adds unlimited safe kills, Port Guard monitoring, remote scans, Docker-aware port mapping, deep process inspection, and exportable connection history. The app is built in Rust, uses low memory, runs locally, and does not include telemetry or account requirements. Port Detective helps developers and IT professionals resolve port conflicts faster while keeping critical local ports protected.

About
PortControl is a modular, web-based port management information system for port authorities and port operators. It brings vessel-call workflows into a shared platform, covering vessel scheduling, berth planning, resource allocation, pilot dispatch, and coordination with agents and suppliers through self-service portals. Finance teams can manage port dues, tariffs, discounts, receivables, and invoice generation. The system provides a common operational view for port teams and supports multi-terminal operations. Ports can adopt modules incrementally and connect PortControl with MaritimeControl VTS or other systems through its open API architecture, including third-party VTS, Maritime Single Window, customs, and port community systems.
