About

Pixela AI is an AI-enabled visual asset generation platform that uses advanced generative models to help creators produce high-quality, game-ready textures, pixel art, and graphic designs from simple text prompts and image inputs in a browser-based interface. It focuses on turning natural language descriptions into stylized visuals such as game textures, pixel art sprites, and branding graphics that are ready for use in digital projects, with tools that let users refine prompts, customize outputs, and export assets in standard formats for game engines or design workflows. It provides a library of customizable templates and generation options tailored to retro aesthetics like 8-bit and 16-bit styles, as well as more detailed image processing tasks, and it lets users download completed assets for direct incorporation into games, apps, or branding materials.

About

SpriteCook is an AI art tool that helps game developers create artwork around their own ideas. It’s built for the ongoing process of making a game: exploring a visual direction, trying different looks, and adding new assets as the project takes shape. You can start with a description or reference image and develop a style that suits your game. Themes and saved presets help you carry that direction into later work, so adding a new enemy or inventory item doesn’t mean starting from scratch each time. SpriteCook supports pixel art and other 2D styles, giving you room to experiment with the look of your project. Animation is part of that workflow too. You can take generated or uploaded artwork, describe how it should move, and export the result as a sprite sheet for your game engine. This makes it useful for testing how a character looks and feels in motion alongside the mechanics you’re building.

Pros & Cons from Real Users

Pros

  • N/A.
  • Pixella was easy to find online, with a user-friendly platform and a simple, smooth experience at first.
  • Good at first, but don't let it fool you; they actually charge you with an unauthorized subscription fee without you knowing.
  • The experience with the product was outshined by the scam where they just get you to sign in on a free trial and then charge you an increased price for a premium subscription and not give you a refund
  • It's good at first, but even after paying the upfront fee, I could only use it for two days before it got blocked

Cons

  • It’s basically a scam.
  • I’m very disappointed with Pixella’s billing practices. My subscription period was extended without asking for or receiving my confirmation, and I ended up paying for two additional months without realizing that money was still being withdrawn from my account.
  • Bad service, charging me an unexpected fee. Don't let it fool you. I'm very, very disappointed that I lost 47.60 US dollars as a first-time customer.
  • They will overcharge you for a subscription no matter if you have cancelled and won't give you a refund, be careful with giving any card details to this company as you'll end up having to cancel your card.
  • Watch out for this app, they use hidden charges, we careful whit this app
