About
PDFik is an asynchronous API that turns public URLs or raw HTML into pixel-accurate PDFs. Submit a job, receive a job ID, and get an HMAC-signed webhook when the PDF is ready — polling endpoints exist too. Rendering runs on sandboxed headless Chromium, so modern CSS, web fonts and JavaScript-heavy pages render correctly.
Key capabilities: signed webhooks with automatic retries and a dead-letter queue on every plan, including Free; two published billing meters (rendered PDFs and generated GB, counted separately — downloads never debit quota); a free test mode ("test": true) that exercises the full pipeline without spending quota; files up to 150 MB on every plan; guaranteed deletion of generated documents within 24 hours; per-job credentials encrypted end to end; official SDKs for JavaScript/TypeScript, Python and Java plus a public OpenAPI spec.
Free plan: 100 PDFs and 0.5 GB per month, card verified and never charged. Paid plans from $29/month with a 99.5% SLA.

About
WebKit is a fast, open source web browser engine used by Safari, Mail, App Store, and many other applications on macOS, iOS, and Linux. It serves as the foundation for rendering web content and executing JavaScript in these applications. Developers can contribute to the project by reporting bugs or submitting code. Web developers can follow WebKit's development, check feature status, and download Safari Technology Preview to experiment with the latest web technologies. The project emphasizes real-world web compatibility, standards compliance, stability, performance, battery life, security, privacy, portability, usability, and ease of code modification. WebKit is open source and available under the BSD 2-Clause license, with the exception of the WebCore and JavaScriptCore components, which are available under the GNU Lesser General Public License.
