Pros & Cons from Real Users Pros Support, we were having issues understanding reporting at Reservoir Bar and Grill on a Friday and the owner was not happy going into the weekend with the report looking off. Jack was able to explain everything and provided excellent assistance. Reliable, hybrid POS system that minimizes downtime and keeps operations smooth. Tailored solutions for small-medium businesses Dynamic back office reporting capabilities Locally invested — OrderCounter understands the unique needs of local businesses. The biggest pro about OrderCounter is the accessibility of help right then and there with their support team. They have been able to solve any issue we've had with our POS system. You can tell their employees are very familiar with the software and the willingness to assist you is top notch. We had some issues with our kitchen printer and within 15 minutes the problem was resolved each time. The support team even called me a week later to check in to make sure we haven't had any other problems. The product itself has made our business run more efficient as well as give us the ability to offer new services like online ordering. I also really like how customizable the POS system is. All the adjustments are endless so you can really pin point how you want it to be and how you think it will make your business more efficient. OrderCounter POS does it all. Ease of Use. Very Customizable. Changes to menu items can be made by a manager on the fly. Support is always there. Top Notch equipment, service !! Great all around System is really great in restaurant and bar C’est Bon Cons It was mostly us not understanding the reporting. can't think of any major cons for my system. In the event my internet goes down, I'm still able to use my system and process payments. Only con I can really think about is if you are not somewhat technically inclined it may be a little difficult trying to understand and setup or update items on your menu. We also had some issues with our reports not lining up as far as totals since we introduced online ordering, but has been resolved! Some of the canned reports do not give us exactly what we really want, but there are enough to choose from to get the info by using two reports and viewing side by side. Everything this system has to offer is really great .	Pros & Cons from Real Users Pros Software is the only positive part of the misadventure Their company is not a reflection of this software BEWARE Good price for pos system for us. Ease of use for us, but for loyalty kinda confusing. Okay customer service. Easy to use, Easy to program, Convenient, user friendly, Can be managed on iPad and on laptop/computer for back office. Excellent customer service and very knowledgeable quick response time. Apple based hardware and software. This is a great company to work with. They solve problems fast and efficiently. Highly recommend them for any business. Cons Horrible experience with TouchBistro We ran TouchBistro in our restaurant and it cost us far more in stress than in money. Their business model is to lock you up in infinite contracts, they dont respect or follow mexican laws. They charge IVA tax but dont deliver CFDI receipts, the tax invoice required by Mexican law. What the salesperson told us about cancelling is not what the contract says. No adhesion contract registered with PROFECO, the Mexican consumer authority. The contract names TouchBistro Inc. in Toronto as the provider, but the invoices come from TouchBistro Mexico. They changed the terms and conditions in the middle of our contract. We cancelled in writing and on time. They refused it and kept invoicing. The model is a 24 month lock in with automatic renewal, and you pay out the rest of the term if you want out. Read the whole contract before you sign anything with them. Better yet, look elsewhere. The software is not worth the headache. Online ordering needs to improve for charge back issues. Loyalty kinda confusing. No actual personal support that comes to the restaurant. Each products has its additional add-ons priced differently, would be nice if there was a reasonably priced packages which would include the add-on products so that we could use only one system rather than multiple ones. They dropped the menu board support recently, so we need to find an alternative software. We have not found anything that needs improvement at his time.
