About

OculiX is a Java-based visual automation tool, the modern successor to SikuliX (2010) and to the original Sikuli research project (MIT, 2009). It automates any GUI by recognizing what a human sees on screen: click, type, wait, assert visibility, extract text, regardless of whether the target application exposes an API or is written in a language you know. Where existing visual automation tools are either proprietary (Applitools, Ranorex, TestComplete, Eggplant) or Python-based, OculiX is the only serious open source Java stack in this niche. It ships as a self-contained bundle: image recognition via OpenCV, OCR via a bundled Tesseract runtime (no user install needed), a full Swing IDE with a modern recorder, a Java API for embedding into JUnit / TestNG / Katalon pipelines, and Model Context Protocol support for LLM-driven test agents. Runs on Windows, macOS (Intel + Apple Silicon), and Linux (x86-64 + aarch64). Used in production by enterprise QA teams and RPA practitioners at Ne

About

The powerful, easy-to-use JavaScript testing framework. Easy, zero-configuration setup for any Node.js project and minimal configuration for browser-based projects. Tests can be run anywhere; Node, your browser, even inside a web worker. Test your code where it runs. Flexible APIs for custom assertions, runners, and reporters mean you can extend QUnit to fit your needs. Getting started with QUnit for Node.js projects is quick and easy. First, install the QUnit package using npm. You can now run the test suite through the QUnit CLI. It is recommended that you run the QUnit command via an npm script, which will find the QUnit command automatically from your local dependencies. Check out the API documentation to learn more about the QUnit APIs for organizing tests and making assertions.QUnit follows the Node.js Long-term Support (LTS) schedule and provides support for current, active LTS, and maintenance LTS releases.

Audience

Enterprise QA teams, DevOps engineers, and RPA practitioners who need cross-platform automation they can trust: same script, same result, every run. Exact image matching and embedded OCR drive any desktop, web, or mirrored mobile application by what's on screen, with zero model drift and full audit trails. Production-trusted by Fortune 500, APAC-based, and defense organizations for legacy migration, unattended automation, and compliance-sensitive workflows where probabilistic approaches don't qualify.

Audience

Advanced users interested in a JavaScript solution to run and manage their testing processes
