Pros & Cons from Real Users Pros Everything: it is easy to use, they have excellent support (always there to help), they are always improving their system to be better, they have new features that can help us grow our money, and also pay faster. Everything is great. Nickel makes handling both receivables and payables incredibly easy for my aviation insurance brokerage. Payments are simple to send and collect, funds arrive quickly, and the cost is extremely competitive compared with other platforms I've used. The service has also been very reliable, and on the few occasions I've needed support, I've gotten a helpful response and a quick resolution. API to integrate directly with our CRM Great payment UI Ability to do partial payments Ability to add cc fees Nickel makes handling both Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) simple. I like that I can send and receive ACH payments completely for free. It also lets me pass credit card processing fees directly to the customer, which saves my business a lot of money. Nickel is incredibly easy to use, and their customer support is top notch. Best of all, our vendors and customers consistently tell us how much they appreciate the smooth payment experience on their end. Cons I like everything :) We haven't encountered any cons with them, and if something happens, they are always there to help and resolve any issues. My complaints are pretty minor. The two things I'd most like to see are a direct Xero integration and API access included at a lower subscription tier. Neither is a dealbreaker. I can work around both in my day-to-day operations, but either would make an already excellent product even better. I have been having some issues with the webhooks but nothing major and they have been very responsive They do not offer international payment options right now. They also don't allow you to transfer funds between internal Nickel accounts directly. Honestly, nothing significant comes to mind. The platform has been straightforward and easy to use from day one, and any questions we've had were quickly resolved by their support team. It plays well with UPI, Internet Banking, CC/DC, wallets, Lazypay etc. Great dashboard Easy to use Easy to integrate Variety of payment options Analytics and insights Good customer service Cons Nothing to complain about here. All-in-all a great gateway service. Needs more customization options. Lacks robust international payment options.
