Pros & Cons from Real Users Pros I like its cloud-based architecture, which facilitates secure access to information from anywhere, which is vital for quick decision-making. NetSuite also offers advanced customization, allowing the platform to be tailored to specific business needs. Its automation tools help improve operational efficiency, reducing time spent on manual tasks. NetSuite's e-commerce capabilities allow businesses to seamlessly manage their online presence. It supports functions such as order management, inventory tracking, and customer relationship management in e-commerce. I like NetSuite's ability to provide a complete view of the supply chain. As a user, I can track inventory levels, orders, shipments, and deliveries across multiple locations and channels. This has allowed me to optimize demand planning and production scheduling, which in turn has reduced costs and improved customer satisfaction. I have also found the integrated financial planning and reporting tools very useful. The platform provides a variety of customizable reports on various metrics and dimensions, including revenue, expenses, profitability, cash flow, budgets, and forecasts. These reports can be exported to PDF, Excel or other formats for further analysis or sharing. This has significantly improved our financial planning and reporting processes. NetSuite's automated data entry and integration capabilities are also notable. As a user, I can import data from various sources, such as bank sources, credit card statements, tax authorities or external providers. Plus, NetSuite can be integrated with other tools we use, like Salesforce, Shopify, or Gmail, to streamline workflows and data sharing. As a user I have to pay an annual license fee which depends on the number of users and modules I choose. Additionally, there is a one-time implementation fee that covers the installation and configuration of the software. This can make NetSuite an expensive option for small businesses or startups. Also, it requires specialized skills and knowledge to be able to use it effectively and customize it to my needs, which can add to the cost. Another downside to NetSuite is that it can be overwhelming and confusing for first-time users. The platform has many features and options that can be difficult to navigate or understand. This can make it difficult to use and learn, especially for non-tech-savvy users. Also, it has some quirks and limitations that can be frustrating or inconvenient. For example, some fields or reports cannot be drilled down or filtered as I would like, while some processes or transactions require multiple steps or clicks to complete. Some features are also not available or supported by certain browsers or devices. Also, another thing I can't get over is that NetSuite can be slow or unreliable at times. The system can lag or hang when processing large amounts of data or running complex reports. You may also experience downtime or errors due to maintenance or updates. This can significantly affect my productivity and performance, especially when I need to access critical information or data. It becomes expensive and may not be affordable for small businesses or startups. Users must pay an annual license fee based on the number of users and modules they need, as well as a one-time implementation fee. Pros & Cons from Real Users Pros There is flexibility in changing what works best for our business and the manufacturing bill of material works very well for our product. Be patient - There is a learning curve, but support is great with being patient and helping you through it. It is an excellent all Encompassing ERP Solution, for small to Medium size businesses. We use the WMS extensively. With the ability to put number plates on each pallet which allow for easy warehouse tracking. OpenPro ERP is a comprehensive open source, cloud based ERP and Warehouse Distribution pkg. It is well laid out and easily modified. Though it doesn’t have a flashy interface like programs written in React it is very easily quickly Modified to meet almost any business challenge. We have 7 divisions to our company from wholesale to retail to ecommerce we also have a construction division and a manufacturing division. Job cost, POS, ecommerce, payroll, mobile app timekeeping all work together in an integrated fashion! Priced very reasonable for the features offered! Support has been excellent! This is a program that can easily handle all size companies from small to large! I love their CRM and their workflow manager. And the program easily integrates with many other programs. Except for design software like Vector Works we rarely leave OpenPro in daily operations! Cons Sometimes there are updates to the system that will change a certain processes. There are time through where that change will actually be for the better, but not always. The look and feel is an older look and feel, While the functionality exists the UI is not modern and sleek. Reports need to be a bit cleaner. Actually I am pretty satisfied with the program. There will always be features you want that are not present in the software but the companies willingness to integrate with other software pretty much fixes that issue!
