Pros & Cons from Real Users Pros Unlimited spam email creation so you can throw out email addresses as they're spammed. Also, you don't have to use another company to manage spam email address--you can do this directly in MsgSafe. Can create as many anti-spam email accounts as needed. Once an email account is spammed, you can delete it and create another one so that you never have to worry about the email limit. MsgSafe, from what I've learned, is a zero-knowledge provider--they don't hold our encryption keys. They also strip emails of metadata like IP address so companies... can't track you easily. More, they're based OUTSIDE the dread anti-privacy 14 Eyes (including US, Captain Spy) so courts can't FORCE MsgSafe to compromise law-abiding citizens' privacy. Identity creation is fast and easy. Users can create new identification in a matter of minutes. Lots of domains to choose from for addresses. Cons Customer service doesn't respond to messages. No email warnings about service discontinuation. Small caveat: The service advertises a secure, encrypted audiovisual chat feature, but this is nowhere on the email home page. I've reached out to support, but, as usual, over a week later, they haven't gotten back to me. Why advertise such a critical feature and then either hide its availability OR take it down? Huge caveat: MsgSafe doesn't offer 2FA, so if a remote agent gets your password, they now control your account. It's unbelievable that ANY company that cares about consumer privacy wouldn't immediately offer 2FA so consumers can lock down our accounts. At least offer what other companies have been offering for over a decade now--2FA via a phone authenticator app (like Authy). Better--integrate FIDO/FIDO2 security keys. There are no instructions about how to manage identities anywhere. Can't reply to an email from email support, as a way to contact it. Company hidden from users. Which, is not a good thing.. Can't switch between email accounts easily, or delete identity without instructions. Several email programs will not let me use email addresses with its domains. Not even those ending in ".com".		Pros from Real Users Pros All tools in one place — Mail, Drive, VPN, Calendar — make work simple and efficient. Seamless sync across devices keeps everything smooth and effortless, with flexible plans for any need. Trustworthy service from Switzerland. So its Europe. proton meets all legal requirements, so it is perfect for business. Availability is very good. I like the fact that it was constructed around account safety and it has a fresh interface. It has a lot of features and it is quite affordable for regular users. - Easy to use, - Open source, - Possible to use with a custom domain (requires a premium subscription), - Privacy orientated (something truly rare these days!) The web client is great for all my needs, and ProtonMail is a privacy-respecting e-mail provider, based on Switzerland. The # draw is that this is a secure, privacy-focused email alternative. It also has a very sleek interface. Can encrypt if you want, or not. All settings are available and it is easy to set up everything. Have a free version that I am currently using and it is not restricted in any way. Allows for two-factor authorization. ProtonMail offers encrypted emails, so it's a good option for those looking for a more private, secure email service compared to the bigger ones out there like Gmail and Outlook. It's got fairly priced options, and the free version isn't too bad either. I love that my emails are end to end encrypted. I found out that Gmail reads my emails and I quickly signed up for the free version.
