About

Macro Expert is a robotic process automation software. It can do simple tasks such as backing up files, and typing email addresses, or more complex ones like importing data, application testing, and extracting data from the web. Macro Expert can do whatever you do. Learn more about the features. Routine business processes like checking inventory, updating customer records, or generating reports are tedious but important. You have to type the same text carefully and press the same buttons again and again. With Macro Recorder automation software you can turn these steps into a macro and have the program do the job for you. This will save you time and tedium whilst eliminating errors. The web browser is the most frequently used software today, and most businesses and applications are moving to web-based systems. Macro Expert provides features to automate tasks when using a web browser such as filling out forms, checking new posts, submitting requested information, and printing reports.

About

Racket is a general-purpose, multi-paradigm programming language that serves as a modern dialect of Lisp and a descendant of Scheme. It is designed as a platform for programming language design and implementation, enabling developers to create new domain-specific and general-purpose languages. Racket's core language includes features such as macros, modules, lexical closures, tail calls, delimited continuations, parameters (fluid variables), software contracts, green threads, and OS threads. The language also comes with primitives, such as event spaces and custodians, which control resource management and enable the language to act like an operating system for loading and managing other programs. Further extensions to the language are created with the powerful macro system, which, together with the module system and custom parsers, can control all aspects of a language. Most language constructs in Racket are implemented as macros in the base language.

Pros & Cons from Real Users

Pros

  • Having used various RPA tools ranging from Power Automate to niche Python scripts, I find Macro Expert to be a surprisingly powerful "middle ground" for professional users. The standout feature is its hybrid architecture. While the Chrome extension (Broker of Macro Expert) handles web data extraction with high precision, the Windows desktop client provides the heavy lifting for legacy applications. I recently used it to bridge a gap between a SaaS CRM and an old on-premise ERP system — tasks that usually require complex API work were handled via simple macro logic. Pros: Scripting Flexibility: It’s not just "record and play"; the script editor allows for complex conditional logic and variable handling. Reliability: Unlike some browser-only tools, the native Windows client handles system-level events (like file dialogs or Java apps) flawlessly. Efficiency: Extremely low footprint compared to some of the bulkier enterprise RPA suites.

Cons

  • The UI feels a bit classic/legacy, though very functional once you get the hang of it.
