Since 2011, dealers, C&R collectors, manufacturers and importers have used it to log more than a million firearm transactions in an electronic acquisition and disposition (A&D) bound book. Firearms come in with barcode scanning and go out with ATF Form 4473 completed on a tablet or computer, with the NICS response recorded on the form. A business can keep separate books for consignment, gunsmithing, pawn or NFA items. No correction overwrites a record: the original entry and the reason for the change are kept, and the complete book exports for an ATF inspection. Each team member has their own permissions, existing records import from a spreadsheet, and a REST API with webhooks connects point-of-sale and e-commerce systems. 	Pros & Cons from Real Users Pros Great application, very easy to use and the staff is SUPER at helping us out with any application-related question. In addition, we have our data in the Amazon cloud, so no servers on-site, etc. Very low maintenance and we have direct access to our own data. Cons Reporting. The application comes with 42 standard reports. No customized reports and PawnSnap is very reluctant to give any clues as to the SQL code used to create the reports. Oh well, nothing's perfect and still better than the competition.
