Localist vs. Trumba Comparison Chart

Pros

• Trumba can do more than I ask it to, really. I’ve been using it since 2006, embedding it in a collection of classic car websites I manage, and it improves every year with new features. Once it’s set up on a site, the interface is so easy to use to add or modify events. I love that users can choose their calendar views, set up reminders, set up alerts to be told when an event is updated or changed, and forward the event to friend. I love that you can mark an event as cancelled — very useful to let users know this, rather than just delete it. I love the embedded maps, and the ability to add multiple links for both registration and firther online info about an event.
• Trumba is fairly easy to navigate and has useful features for managing and organizing events. It keeps event information in one place, making it convenient to view and update details. The customization options are also helpful, especially for creating calendars that fit different needs.

• Since most of our events are similar, I like being able to duplicate them. I also like utilizing the RSVP feature.

• I like that it is easy to link the map to show the exact property location. Entering dates and times are simple too.
• Super easy to use. Many features that marketing can use. I love this platform- would highly recommend for calendar events.

• The system is solid. I can't remember a time where the service was down, or when it behaved in a way that couldn't be explained by some user action. I don't want to understate the value of this. Stability is huge. So, please bear this in mind when reading nay critiques I may have.
