Pros & Cons from Real Users Pros Very easy to use. Whiteboard which allows both teacher and student to write on. Images can easily be uploaded and used. Youtube videos can be accessed through the platform, no need for screen-sharing. Screen-sharing option available. Easy to use. Lists with conjugation of verbs already uploaded which is very handy when trying to teach/revise. Pdf files and audio files can easily be uploaded. Option to download as pdf the whiteboard content. Cons Sometimes there are issues with the internet connection. It might not be the platform, but my broadband. I have been using it only for 1:1 tuition. More range of colours. No feature to change background. No back button. In case something gets accidentally erased from the whiteboard it cannot be brought back.	Pros & Cons from Real Users Pros Compared to Skype, FaceTime, Zoom Webex, and the like, Vectera does convince with ease of use for all parties taking part in the online meeting. Granted, the video quality is not on the same level as Zoom or FaceTime, but Vectera is far more reliable and hasn't cut out on me once. The ability to sync with calendars and schedule appointments is easily setup. What I liked most, though, is the whiteboard functionality and document annotations. Vectera works without any annoying downloads or installations (Cisco, Zoom, Skype, anyone?) right out of the box. Vectera is easy to use and clients comment on that and ask about it. The cobrowse is amazing for tech support work and training. White label url and appointment scheduler bumps professionalism. One of the best parts is the customer service. They are always making things better. #1- Very simple and easy to navigates user interface. #2- Easy to establish a web conference. #3- Useful Screen mirroring and screencasting features. #4- Meeting scheduling and reminder. Cons There're a couple of improvements, though, and I've already highlighted them with the development team, which I found somewhat responsive and open to suggestions. One of the things I'm missing is, for example, the ability to conduct a meeting offline. Rather than online video, I'd like to provide the client with a phone number to call. Right there in the invite that's sent out once a meeting is scheduled as a phone call and not a video conference. This isn't possible with Vectera, and I can't wait for this small add-on to get implemented. The only issue is the background blur in video is choppy because it takes a lot of resources. Once in a while a caller drops off, so you have to make sure that everyone is using Chrome for best experience. That can be an issue for mac users. #1- We had an overall positive experience with it.
