Keenable is an independent web search infrastructure built for AI labs, inference platforms, agents, and developers that need fast, high-quality access to the live web. Its Search API gives AI systems a web-scale index of more than 100 billion documents and is designed for low-latency retrieval, with performance optimized for production agent workloads. Agents can search web pages and fetch page content through a REST API, MCP server, or command-line interface using the same account and API key. It continuously evaluates and improves search quality using its NEEDLE benchmark, which compares retrieval performance across search providers and measures results against an oracle ranking built from pooled results. For larger AI workloads, Keenable supports dedicated search capacity as well as cloud and on-premises deployment options. Its Time Machine capability extends retrieval beyond the current web by providing point-in-time search across historical versions of pages.
