Secondly, support is provides necessary information in time It's very easy to use and can do fast deployment. Reliable and fully automated with high available DB lifecycle management solution. Great tool to simplify complex Kubernetes deployments, Percona XtraBackup enables synchronous multi-primary replication. Easy and fast deployment. A reliable, fully automated, high-available db lifecycle management solution. As they say "The Operator simplifies the deployment and management of the Percona XtraDB Cluster in Kubernetes-based environments", 100% accurate! It is very handy in single region cluster scenario like single EKS or GKE cluster. You have proxysql or haproxy configured which I like very much. Cons Verification of an account takes long and only verified accounts can access all services No cons, Deployment and management are excellent and 100% accurate! The tool is new and isn't very flexible if moving form an existing technology so it would be better to check compatibility before using this. Percona XtraDB Cluster have some differences compared to "traditional" MySQL solution, so be sure to check these out before implementing the technology. We had some hard times trying to use it combined with pre-existing techs like WordPress, Magento, etc. Also the k8s environment features can have an impact on it, like the storage solutions. Be sure to match the requirements with the specific use case. I tried to use in multi region clusters but it does not support it. So I had to setup everything without operator on more than one cluster.
